Nripendra Misra calls Ram Temple donation theft a disgrace

Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Construction Committee chairman Nripendra Misra called the alleged theft and misappropriation of donations at the Ayodhya shrine a disgrace. He expressed hope for better temple management.

Speaking to mediapersons on Saturday during the second day of the construction committee meeting in Ayodhya, Misra said the incident was a stigma. The fact that this occurred in the Ram Temple is something we all regret and feel diminished by.

Misra described it as a question of management. He said he had full faith there would be improvement in the system and such incidents would not be repeated. A retired judge heads the committee to select a CEO.

Misra arrived in Ayodhya on Friday. The temple construction work is set to finish by July 30 while boundary wall and auditorium projects continue into November or December.
