Amazon Prime's Off Campus has driven sharp increases in streams for multiple songs featured in its first season. The romantic comedy series has boosted both classic rock tracks and newer alt-pop releases.
The show, which follows protagonists Hannah and Garrett, features a high rate of song placements. Classic tracks have seen notable lifts, including Elton John's The Bitch Is Back, which rose 577 percent to 1.2 million weekly U.S. streams. Warrant's Cherry Pie also climbed 122 percent to 1.1 million streams during the tracking week ending May 21, according to Luminate data.
