Oleksandr Bortnyk claims 17th bullet brawl title

GM Oleksandr Bortnyk won the May 30 edition of Bullet Brawl, finishing with 154 points to secure his 17th career title in the weekly Chess.com arena event.

Bortnyk outpaced a field of 171 titled players and finished nine points ahead of second-place IM Renato Terry. GM Matthias Bluebaum placed third with 138 points, while GM Tuan Minh Le finished fourth. WFM Veronika Shubenkova earned the $100 prize for the top female finisher after placing 28th overall.
