GM Parham Maghsoodloo secured his first Titled Tuesday victory of 2026 on July 14 with a dominant 10/11 score. He finished ahead of GM Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu in second place on 9.5/11 and GM Hikaru Nakamura in third on tiebreaks.
The weekly Chess.com tournament for titled players began at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. Maghsoodloo, who had five prior wins in 2025, moved into sole lead after defeating Praggnanandhaa in round eight.
He maintained control through the remaining rounds, including a final-round win against GM Jeffery Xiong that avoided any late drama. Praggnanandhaa took sole second after winning on time in his last game.
Nakamura reached third place with a victory over GM Christopher Yoo. Other top finishers included GM Hans Niemann, GM Aravindh Chithambaram, and FM Dincer Tasdogen, who shared ninth-place scores of nine points.
