Atlus released a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival during Anime Expo that showcases the protagonist Yu Narukami with the deadpan personality from the anime adaptation. The February release will bring the remake to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The trailer highlights Yu watching the character Rise perform on stage. Instead of cheering enthusiastically, he holds up a heart-shaped sign while maintaining a glazed and unfazed expression.
This approach matches the stoic and awkward version of Yu popularized in Persona 4 The Animation. The original game presents Yu as a mostly silent protagonist.
Fans have begun creating memes based on the scene and Photoshopping the heart sign for humorous edits. The game is scheduled to launch on February 18.
