British singer PinkPantheress, whose real name is Victoria Walker, is set to make her feature film acting debut in an upcoming secret project from the directing duo known as the Daniels at Universal Pictures.
The Oscar-winning team of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert will helm the film, which also stars Matt Damon, Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, Thalia Dudek and Michael Gandolfini. Details about the plot remain under wraps.
The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on November 19, 2027. The Daniels are producing through their company Playgrounds under an overall deal at Universal, with Jonathan Wang also producing.
PinkPantheress rose to fame in 2021 with short R&B and UK garage tracks shared on TikTok and SoundCloud. She earned two Grammy nominations this year and became the first woman to win the BRIT Award for Producer of the Year.
