Wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr. recorded four receptions for 52 yards and his first career touchdown, setting personal bests. Tight end Juwan Johnson had four catches for 95 yards, also a career high.
Defensively, cornerback Alontae Taylor recorded nine tackles and four pass breakups, reaching 12 for the season and joining an elite group of Saints defenders. Defensive end Chase Young contributed 4 tackles, 1.5 sacks—including a strip sack returned for a touchdown—and now has 8.5 sacks in 11 games. Cameron Jordan added five tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble, bringing his season total to 9.5 sacks—his seventh such season. Jonah Williams notched a sack, his third of the year.
Kicker Charlie Smyth made field goals of 57 and 56 yards, becoming the first Saints kicker with three 56-plus yarders in a season. The victory gives New Orleans a 5-3-1 record in games played in Houston or Nashville against the Titans or Oilers franchise and marks the third time they've won four December games.
