Salt-N-Pepa, TLC and En Vogue announce joint US tour

Salt-N-Pepa, TLC and En Vogue, three prominent 1990s R&B groups, have announced a joint summer tour across North American amphitheaters. Dubbed the 'It’s Iconic' tour, it kicks off on August 15 in Franklin, Tennessee, and concludes on October 11 in Concord, California. The groups described it as a 'mixtape vibe' with seamless transitions between their hits.

On March 23, 2026, Salt-N-Pepa, TLC and En Vogue revealed plans for a collaborative tour, marking a reunion of 1990s R&B powerhouses. Cheryl “Salt” James of Salt-N-Pepa called it “the most fun touring experience I’ve ever had,” promising a “mixtape vibe” where members rotate on stage without breaks, akin to the New Edition, Toni Braxton and Boyz II Men tour. Expect rapid shifts from hits like “Shoop,” “Waterfalls” and “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It).” > “These ladies represent resilience and empowerment,” En Vogue’s Terry Ellis said in the announcement video. “To be a part of that is everything. They’re legends.” Salt-N-Pepa have reconciled with DJ Spinderella after past tensions. En Vogue features Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron and Maxine Jones, excluding Dawn Robinson since 2011. TLC tours as a duo with Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, honoring Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who died in 2002, via video clips. Chilli praised 1990s lyrical content: “You can put on a song no matter how you’re feeling... And it’s crazy to see eight-year-olds sitting in the audience singing all of the songs.” Rehearsals begin in July with intensive eight-hour daily sessions five days a week, focusing on clean eating and exercise. The tour includes stops at fairs and venues like Iowa State Fair Grandstand on August 18 and Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre on September 2. A preview performance is set for the iHeartRadio Music Awards this Thursday.
