Lionel Scaloni is analyzing two possible changes to Argentina's starting lineup for their World Cup 2026 match against Austria.
The Argentina national team trained behind closed doors starting at 13:00 in Kansas City. The coach has all 26 players available after the win over Algeria.
Gonzalo Montiel has a small muscular injury without pain and will miss the match. Nahuel Molina will replace him at right back.
Scaloni is also considering bringing in Nico González and Julián Álvarez for Thiago Almada and Lautaro Martínez. The match is scheduled for Monday at 14:00 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
Pablo Aimar, Scaloni's assistant, described Austria as a very tough opponent.
