Shell Egypt highlights Egypt as critical energy market ahead of EGYPES 2026

Dalia Elgabry, Vice President and Country Chair of Shell Egypt, described Egypt as a critical energy market at the intersection of regional supply, infrastructure, and growing demand. Shell will participate in the EGYPES 2026 conference with a single, integrated presence showcasing its full energy portfolio. The event falls under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

Shell Egypt will participate in EGYPES 2026 with a single, integrated presence bringing together its full energy portfolio, from liquefied natural gas (LNG) and upstream development to downstream innovation and social investment.

Shell executives will contribute to strategic discussions. Cederic Cremers, President for Integrated Gas at Shell, will address the global LNG supply and demand outlook amid geopolitical shifts. Joris Grimbergen will discuss carbon and methane reductions, Haytham Yehia energy system evolution, and Omneya Abdellatif upstream M&A in volatile markets.

Alongside the conference, Shell Egypt will host the Youth Impact Ceremony with the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on the third day. It will announce winners of the NXplorers national competition, Intilaaqah Egypt pitch day, and recognize university teams from the Shell Eco-marathon in Doha.

Shell's unified booth will showcase its operations and partnerships in Egypt, including exploration, production, LNG, and downstream activities, supporting Egypt's role as a regional energy hub.
