In the natural sciences stream, students will be examined in English, math, civic and ethical education, biology, chemistry, and physics. The social sciences stream includes English, math, civic and ethical education, history, geography, and economics.

The exam encompasses material from 9th to 12th grades. Ninth grade content combines old and new curricula. Grades 10 through 12 are based on the new curriculum. Economics, as a new curriculum subject, covers grades 10 to 12.
