Sublime announces inaugural Me Gusta music festival

Sublime has revealed plans for their first-ever music festival, Me Gusta, debuting on May 9 in Fort Worth, Texas. The event at Panther Island Pavilion will feature the band alongside Slightly Stoopid as headliners, celebrating West Coast alternative culture. Tickets are now available starting at $89.99.

Festival Overview

Sublime's Me Gusta festival draws its name from the lyric 'Me gusta mi reggae, me gusta punk rock' in their song 'Caress Me Down,' capturing the band's blend of punk rock, hip-hop, reggae, and surf influences. Co-produced by Sublime and Brew Ha Ha Productions, the one-day event aims to honor the enduring spirit of West Coast alternative music. Attendees can also opt for a $15.99 brew sampling add-on, available to those 21 and older.

Key Performers and Lineup

Joining Sublime as co-headliners are longtime friends Slightly Stoopid, with additional artists expected to be revealed soon. The festival promises a lineup reflecting the diverse sounds that have defined Sublime's legacy, kept alive by fans and musicians across generations.

It’s punk rock, hip-hop, reggae, surf — all facets of true West Coast alternative culture... This is our era now and we got nothing but love for everyone coming with us.'

Event co-producer Cameron Collins of Brew Ha Ha Productions added: 'As someone who lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I couldn’t be more excited to launch the first-ever Sublime Me Gusta Festival right in our own backyard. Sublime and Slightly Stoopid are two of the most influential bands of our generation... Fort Worth is the perfect place to kick off Sublime Me Gusta.'
