The Lumière de l’Infini crown for Miss Universe 2025 costs about $5 million

The Lumière de l’Infini crown, created by the Filipino house Jewelmer, will be placed on the Miss Universe 2025 winner during the final in Thailand. This unique piece, inspired by nature and the sea, features golden South Sea pearls and diamonds. Its estimated value is $5 million, according to reports.

The Lumière de l’Infini crown marks the first complete creation from the Philippines for Miss Universe, from conceptualization to final setting. Unveiled at the 2024 edition, where it crowned Denmark's Victoria Kjær Theilvig, this jewel embodies the bond between nature, femininity, and Filipino craftsmanship. Jewelmer, founded in 1979 by a French pearl cultivator and a Filipino businessman, grew the golden South Sea pearls, among the world's rarest, over five years without artificial processes.

The design features golden pearls symbolizing Earth radiating beauty, diamonds in ascending rays evoking light and the sun, and gold curves representing sea foam and wind over water. “Behind the crown lies a majestic homage to life and its universal elements,” Jewelmer explains. It is also “a national pride carrying the work of pearl cultivators, artisans, and jewelers who keep traditional techniques alive.”

The estimated cost is $5 million, equivalent to about 92 million Mexican pesos per an Imagen Televisión report, though unconfirmed officially; jewelry experts support it due to the exclusive materials. The final will occur on November 21 at 08:00 Thailand time (November 20 at 18:00 or 19:00 Mexico time, due to time difference). Jewelmer also designed the tiara for Miss Universe Philippines since 2022.
