Miguel Vargas, Munetaka Murakami and Tristan Peters have been selected to represent the Chicago White Sox at the 2026 All-Star Game in Philadelphia.
Vargas was chosen through player balloting and announced last Saturday. Murakami joined the roster July 10 as a replacement for Byron Buxton, while Peters was added July 11 in place of Nick Kurtz.
Manager Will Venable praised the selections. He highlighted Vargas for his clubhouse leadership and strong performance, noting a slash line of .245/.358/.496 with 21 home runs this season.
Murakami, who missed six weeks with a hamstring injury, will also participate in the T-Mobile Home Run Derby. Peters completed a cycle on July 10, becoming only the third player in the expansion era to record two hits in the same inning during that feat.
The All-Star Game is scheduled for July 14 at 8 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on FOX.
