In Udaipur, Rajasthan, an IT company manager was allegedly gangraped in a moving car after a party. Police have arrested the company's CEO, a female executive, and her husband. Medical reports and dashcam footage confirm the allegations.
On December 20, 2025, an IT company's CEO Jayesh hosted a birthday and New Year party at a hotel in Shobhagpura, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The victim, a manager at the firm, arrived around 9 PM, and the event lasted until 1:30 AM. After the party, as the victim's health deteriorated, female executive head Shilpa offered her a ride for an after-party.
The CEO Jayesh and Shilpa's husband Gaurav were already in the car. En route, they stopped at a shop to buy smoking materials and forced the victim to smoke, causing her to pass out. Upon regaining consciousness, she alleged molestation and gangrape. She was dropped home around 5 AM, where she found her earrings, socks, and undergarments missing, along with injury marks on private parts.
District Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal stated that action was taken based on the victim's statement, medical report, and FIR. The medical examination revealed injury marks confirming the gangrape. Investigation uncovered audio-video recordings from the car's dashcam capturing sounds during the incident. Additional SP Madhuri Verma is leading the probe. The three accused have been presented in court.
This incident raises questions about corporate culture, where workplace parties can lead to such crimes. Police are treating the case seriously.
