Welsh pony and young rider win 2026 windsor m&m whp title

Maisie Kerry-Oates rode Cadlanvalley Royal Bronze to victory in the mountain and moorland working hunter pony championship at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The seven-year-old Welsh section B topped the 133cm class before claiming the overall title. This success came in the rider's first appearance in the workers at the event.

The pair, produced by Katy Marriot-Payne, impressed with strong performances over fences after a background dominated by flat ring wins. Cadlanvalley Royal Bronze, known as Ozzy, had previously stood junior M&M champion at the Horse of the Year Show and Royal International Horse Show. The duo also earned champion performance pony honours at the London International Horse Show in 2024.
