VfL Wolfsburg won the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinal against Olympique Lyonnes 1-0. Lineth Beerensteyn scored the decisive goal in the 14th minute. Without captain Alexandra Popp, the Wolfsburg women ended a streak of six losses to the French side.
