Cold Iron Studios has confirmed that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch on 25 August 2026. The sequel expands the co-operative shooter to four players and adds new features.
The game will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It supports cross-platform play with in-game voice chat.
New elements include five unique classes, an updated horde mode, and a Specialist endgame class for custom Marines. Players can expect new perks, abilities, weapons, Xenomorphs, and deadlier threats, along with deeper strategies for squad coordination.
The announcement follows earlier leaks from July 2024 and a May confirmation that shifted the window to the third quarter of 2026. A teaser highlighted the expanded four-player format and tactical options.
