CBS Sports analyst Emory Hunt praised the Pittsburgh Steelers for their offseason additions, saying the team looks stronger than last year's division-winning squad.
Hunt spoke on CBS Sports HQ on Friday, highlighting improvements across both offense and defense. He noted the Steelers addressed key needs after their 10-7 campaign that secured the AFC North title in 2025. The team added veteran receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and running back Rico Dowdle to replace Kenneth Gainwell. Other moves include cornerback Jamel Dean and safety additions Jaquan Brisker and Darnell Savage. Patrick Graham joins as a new defensive voice. Hunt said the run game now features a stacked backfield with Dowdle and Jaylen Warren. He called the overall roster a very good football team that should contend again in the division.
