Angela Bassett recalls early role on search for tomorrow

Angela Bassett has reflected on her first recurring television role as a nurse on the long-running soap opera Search for Tomorrow.

The actress landed the part of Selina McCulla in 1985 for an eight-episode run on the daytime drama, which aired from 1951 to 1986. Selina worked at the Riverfront Clinic and interacted with characters including her brother Cruiser and a young volunteer played by Jane Krakowski.
