Ann Demeulemeester unveils fall 2026 ready-to-wear at Paris Fashion Week

Stefano Gallici, creative director of Ann Demeulemeester, presented the brand's fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week in March 2026. The show blended preppy elements with rock 'n' roll attitudes and Victorian influences. Celebrities including Billy Idol and Jimmy Page attended the event.

The Ann Demeulemeester fall 2026 ready-to-wear collection was showcased at Paris Fashion Week on March 8, 2026. Creative director Stefano Gallici drew from his youthful inspirations, including poet Arthur Rimbaud and 1970s rock music, to infuse the lineup with a sense of rebellion and literature.

Building on the spring collection, Gallici incorporated Victorian-era influences alongside the house's signature tailoring. Regimental accents and Napoleon jackets featured prominently, joined by a fresh take on preppy style. This included ripped school uniforms with raw hems and visible linings, crushed velvet blazers emblazoned with crests paired with denim featuring ripped gold side bands, and pants transformed into sketchbooks with prints of personal notes. Distressed V-neck mohair sweaters and dresses were layered over lace separates, while varsity and leather jackets showed a lived-in patina.

Other elements retained regimental motifs, such as capes, coats, and cropped Napoleon jackets, along with biker jackets and a zippered blouson combining shearling and studded leather. Romantic touches appeared in poetic ruffled blouses, embroidered collars in velvet and tulle, sheer long skirts, bias-cut chiffon dresses, and velvet frocks. The looks were grounded with Converse-like sneakers and stompy boots. T-shirt prints paid tribute to Rimbaud.

Billy Idol walked the runway in a fringed leather cape, leading models including Wet Leg’s Rhian Teasdale, musicians Fletcher Milloy and Rip Swirl, and Scarlett White. Front-row guests included Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, Lourdes Leon, and Gabbriette. The show featured a live performance by music duo Beguiling Junior, comprising Oli Burslem and Okay Kaya, who also composed the original soundtrack.
