Ariana Grande has withdrawn from the cast of American Horror Story Season 13 due to scheduling conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine Tour. She was originally announced as part of the ensemble in October 2025.
The singer's departure was reported on July 10. Other cast members including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Frances Conroy and Jessica Lange remain attached to the season.
Several actors were photographed filming in New York City on July 9 wearing attire from the Coven storyline. New additions spotted on set include Avantika and model Alex Consani.
Season 13, titled 13, is scheduled to premiere on FX on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 9/8c. The plot centers on a mysterious apartment building in Manhattan and is expected to return to New Orleans.
