UFC fighters Arman Tsarukyan and Jean Silva have been added to the submission grappling lineup for Hype Fighting's upcoming event in Rio de Janeiro. The March 11 bout features submission-only matches, with Shara Magomedov and Jorge Masvidal already scheduled to compete against each other. Opponents for Tsarukyan and Silva remain pending.
Moscow-based promotion Hype Fighting continues to expand, announcing the addition of UFC standouts Arman Tsarukyan and Jean Silva to its next event on March 11 at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro. The card includes submission-only grappling matches, building on the already confirmed matchup between fellow UFC stars Shara Magomedov and Jorge Masvidal. Tickets for the event are currently on sale.
Tsarukyan, a top lightweight contender, remains active outside the UFC octagon while awaiting his next assignment. In November, he secured a quick victory over Dan Hooker in his most recent UFC bout, solidifying his position in the division. More recently, Tsarukyan debuted for Hype FC in December, where he outgrappled "Shara Bullet" in an unjudged match that ended in a draw. He also competed at RAF 6 in Tempe, Arizona, on a recent Saturday, where his wrestling match against Georgio Poullas concluded with Tsarukyan inciting a brawl by attacking his opponent afterward.
Jean Silva, known for his dynamic striking and personality in the featherweight division, is also in line for a UFC title opportunity following his win over Arnold Allen at UFC 324. He now eyes a potential shot at champion Alexander Volkanovski.
This event highlights Hype Fighting's growing inclusion of high-profile UFC talent in non-MMA formats.
