Barrelhand releases space-grade Monolith watch for pre-order

Barrelhand has launched the Monolith, a mission-grade space watch developed over six years using aerospace engineering and advanced materials.

The watch meets ISO aerospace standards and NASA material guidance. It has withstood EVA and IVA testing protocols. A prototype chassis reached the Moon aboard the Nova-C lunar lander Odysseus in February 2024. The production model uses a 3D-printed Scalmalloy chassis and weighs 31 grams without the strap. It is rated from vacuum to 20 atm with temperature tolerances from -120°C to +120°C and shock resistance up to 3,000 g. An integrated Aircore insulation chamber and an oversized Airlock Crown support operations in extreme environments.
