Big Brother Naija Season 11 began on Sunday with the entry of 24 housemates who will compete for a record ₦160 million prize. Organisers introduced a twist dividing contestants into male and female teams for challenges.
Big Brother announced the division shortly after the housemates entered the house. Wager tasks, arena games and other activities will now be contested between the ladies and the guys.
Housemate Aikou, a 25-year-old freelance web developer from Abuja, said during his introduction that he wants to win the prize for his Egyptian girlfriend. He is among the 24 contestants unveiled for the “Show Ya Sef” edition.
The full list includes individuals from various states with backgrounds in streaming, modelling, engineering and entertainment. Organisers described the group as bringing distinct personalities and strategies to the competition.
