Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has announced plans to release more than 60 unreleased songs from his former supergroup Zwan.

Corgan shared the details in a video interview with Stereogum. He said the tracks would be remixed and remastered, drawing from the band's sole album as well as two additional records of unreleased material.

“There will be, like, maybe two more LPs of unreleased tracks,” Corgan stated. He added that the songs would be issued in separate sets to avoid an overly large box set.

Zwan formed after the Smashing Pumpkins breakup in 2001 and released Mary Star of the Sea in 2003 before disbanding later that year. Corgan noted there are “60-plus unreleased Zwan songs that have never been released.”

No release dates have been confirmed.

Cosa dice la gente

Music news outlets like Rolling Stone, NME, and Consequence shared the announcement neutrally with links. Fans reacted positively, calling the unreleased tracks a 'huge' vault for Zwan enthusiasts. A Spanish user expressed excitement with 'yeiiiiii', while an official Smashing Pumpkins account highlighted ongoing Zwan song discoveries. Recent posts from June 2026 focus on the scale of 60+ tracks and potential reissues.
