The Fiscalía confirmed the discovery of a body that could correspond to Yulixa Tolosa, the 52-year-old woman who disappeared after an aesthetic procedure in Bogotá.
The body was found beside a road in the municipality of Apulo and taken to Medicina Legal for identification procedures.
The technical inspection was handled by SIJIN units of the National Police. The case began on May 13 when Tolosa entered the “Beauty Láser” establishment in the Venecia neighborhood for a laser lipolysis procedure.
Security videos showed two men removing her from the site and loading her into a gray vehicle. The location lacked sanitary permits and some camera footage was removed during raids.
Police located the vehicle in Cúcuta and arrested two men investigated for concealment of evidence and forced disappearance.
