BTS tops Billboard poll for 2026 World Cup excitement

BTS has emerged as the most anticipated performer at the 2026 FIFA World Cup following a Billboard poll that closed on June 15.

Readers cast more than 8 million votes for the K-pop group, accounting for 54 percent of responses. LISA placed second with over 6.5 million votes and 43 percent.

Other artists including Shakira, Anitta, Katy Perry and Madonna also appeared on the ballot. The poll asked fans which act they were most excited to see during the tournament.
