The event features eight invited players and eight qualifiers. Play-ins consist of 60-minute arenas on June 22, with winners advancing to playoffs. Playoffs run from June 24 to 27 in a 16-player double-elimination format. Firouzja seeks a fourth title to match the record held by Hikaru Nakamura. Other competitors include Arjun Erigaisi, Nihal Sarin, Oleksandr Bortnyk, Denis Lazavik and Sam Sevian. The tournament will be broadcast live on Chess.com's Twitch and YouTube channels.
