Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach forecasted a flurry of trades on the first day of the NFL draft, calling it a treat for fans. He attributed the expected movement to closely bunched player grades at key positions. The Pittsburgh Steelers, with the most picks in the draft, may look to trade up from their spot at No. 21.
Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach shared his outlook on Thursday via the team's YouTube channel. 'I think that the fans will be in for a treat next Thursday,' Veach said. 'Because I think that the grades are going to be so close from some of these tackles and d-ends and receivers that a lot of these guys that are mocked high may go a little lower, and a lot of these guys that are getting mocked a little lower may go a little higher... There’ll probably be a lot of trades.'
