Prosecutor Eljach Pacheco joined the Paz Electoral event on June 19. He stressed that institutions endure beyond elections and called for political maturity.
Comptroller Carlos Hernán Rodríguez and Registrar Hernán Penagos Giraldo reinforced the message. They noted electoral materials have GPS tracking and overseas results will be released at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The Electoral Observation Mission, the Ombudsman's Office and business guilds urged candidates Iván Cepeda and Abelardo de la Espriella to accept the results. A manifesto by former ministers also called on President Gustavo Petro and De la Espriella to respect institutions.
