Le autorità egiziane esaminano le iniziative di finanziamento industriale

L'Industrial Development Authority e la Federation of Egyptian Industries si sono riunite il 9 maggio per esaminare lo stato di avanzamento di diversi programmi di finanziamento sostenuti dallo Stato per il settore industriale.

La presidente dell'IDA, Nahed Youssef, ha incontrato il vicepresidente della FEI, Mahmoud Serge, per discutere le modalità per migliorare l'efficacia delle attuali iniziative di finanziamento e rispondere alle preoccupazioni degli investitori.

L'esame ha riguardato l'iniziativa di finanziamento del capitale circolante da 150 miliardi di EGP lanciata nel 2023, una proposta di programma da 3 miliardi di EGP per la ristrutturazione delle fabbriche in difficoltà e l'iniziativa di finanziamento agevolato da 30 miliardi di EGP per l'acquisto di macchinari e attrezzature. Quest'ultima sostiene attualmente nove settori prioritari e oltre 70 attività industriali.

Youssef ha dichiarato che le proposte emerse dall'incontro saranno studiate in coordinamento con le autorità competenti. Il direttore esecutivo della FEI, Khaled Abdel-Azim, ha osservato che la prima riunione del Comitato per i finanziamenti è prevista per la prossima settimana.
