Esteban Pavez celebrated the Peruvian Apertura title with Alianza Lima after a 3-0 win over Chankas, where he provided an assist.
The former Colo Colo player joined Alianza Lima after a call from coach Pablo Guede. In comments to Movistar Deportes, Pavez noted that last year at Colo Colo was difficult and that football can sometimes be unfair.
Pavez highlighted the welcome at the Peruvian club. “Contento con lo que se hizo, celebrar, el grupo es muy humilde, me recibieron bien desde el primer día”, he said.
Coach Pablo Guede also spoke about the title. He mentioned criticism after elimination from the Copa Libertadores and stated that he learned to work more than to speak.
