Everlane founder launches stillradical.com after Shein acquisition

Michael Preysman, who founded Everlane in 2011, has started a new project called stillradical.com following the brand's acquisition by Shein. The move comes after years of challenges at the company he built around transparency and sustainability.

Rumors of the Shein acquisition surfaced on May 17. The deal was finalized on May 22, with Preysman learning of it just 20 minutes beforehand. He described the outcome as ironic given Everlane's origins in challenging opaque practices in fashion manufacturing.
