Sarah Rowe, known in WWE as Sarah Logan and Valhalla, has confirmed her retirement from professional wrestling to focus on homesteading and motherhood. Her decision follows the expiration of her WWE contract, marking the end of a career that spanned over a decade. Rowe shared details of her transition during an appearance on the Wise Traditions podcast.

Sarah Rowe, who performed in WWE under the names Sarah Logan and Valhalla, announced her retirement from professional wrestling after her contract expired on February 5, 2025. Rowe, a member of the Riott Squad during her initial run from 2014 to 2020 and later part of The Viking Raiders alongside her husband Erik (Raymond Rowe) from 2022 to 2025, was released during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as part of a group of approximately 150 wrestlers let go by the company.

While Erik remained with WWE, Rowe used the time to start a family, welcoming a child in November 2024, and pursue her interest in farming, drawing from her family's background in traditional agriculture. On the day of her release, she began planning a farm on the 20 acres of land she and her husband own, initially planting corn and later expanding to hay production and raising Highland cows. She returned to WWE in 2022 but ultimately chose not to renew her contract.

Speaking on the Wise Traditions podcast, Rowe described the shift: "When COVID happened, they let go of 150 wrestlers, and I was one of those wrestlers that got let go. My husband was still hired, I got let go. We were like, ‘Let’s have a baby.’ I always wanted to grow my own food." She added, "My contract just expired on the 5th, and I’m not renewing it. At first I’m like, ‘Maybe I don’t want to come back to wrestling. Maybe I just want to start a homestead and a farmer and a mother.’ Once that happened, my body wasn’t used to that peace."

Rowe, now 32, noted the adjustment to a quieter life was challenging after the demanding wrestling schedule but fulfilling. "Obviously, I left wrestling to solely focus on those things. And I really just try to cultivate an environment where everything that lives on my farm is nourished and taken care of from life to death," she said. In June 2025, Rowe shared on Instagram that her contract would not be renewed, and she was listed on WWE's alumni page by September 2025. Her departure ends the original lineup of The Viking Raiders on WWE television, with Erik recovering from a neck injury and partner Ivar competing as a singles wrestler on the RAW brand.

Cosa dice la gente

Reactions on X to Sarah Rowe's (Sarah Logan/Valhalla) retirement from wrestling are predominantly humorous, featuring memes about her comedic WWE moments like R-Truth replacing her in the Royal Rumble and jokes about her finisher or antlers. Positive sentiments wish her well in homesteading and motherhood, acknowledging the silly gimmick but praising her personally. Neutral news shares from wrestling accounts dominate high-engagement posts, with minor negative or skeptical comments.
