Playground Games has confirmed that players cannot smash cherry blossom trees in Forza Horizon 6. The studio also chose to exclude certain Japanese temples and shrines. These decisions aim to avoid cultural disrespect in the Japan-set racing game.
Forza Horizon 6 is available now on PC and Xbox for players who purchased early access. The full release for everyone else is scheduled for May 19, 2026. The open-world racer takes place across Japan and features standard gameplay elements such as racing events and exploration.
