Fredrik Olofsson has had a standout regular season with Rögle BK, recording 38 points tied for the team lead with linemate Felix Nilsson. He also logged the most ice time among all forwards and leads the SHL in plus/minus rating ahead of his first playoff appearance against Färjestad BK in the quarterfinals, starting next Tuesday. Olofsson attributes his success to the trust given by the team. “Det känns jättebra. Det känns som att jag har fått komma in och får vara mig själv på träningar och matcher. Det är klart man har förtjänat förtroendet, men det har också getts till mig och då vill man ge tillbaka med mer ledande och rätt attityd,” he told HD. His line with Nilsson and Lubos Horky has been productive, with Isac Solberg filling in during Horky's injury. Olofsson believes there is more to come in the playoffs. He focuses on creating chances, often for teammates. “Men mitt spel är också att skapa mycket för andra runt omkring mig. Så om inte jag är med och gör mål brukar det oftast vara andra killar som är lediga och på rätt plats för att göra mål,” he added to HD.
