Indonesia's sport climbing team has locked in full strength for the lead discipline at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games after Raviandi Ramadhan and Alma Ariella Tsany secured extra tickets from the 2026 Asian Climbing Championships in Meishan, China, on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
Both athletes placed ninth in their respective lead semifinals. Raviandi recorded 37+ in the men's event, while Alma scored 43+ in the women's. Although they did not reach the finals, the results were sufficient to claim the maximum quota of two athletes per country per event under the regulations.
Putra Tri Ramadani and Sukma Lintang Cahyani had previously earned lead tickets. Other Indonesian men in semis included Musauwir 12th with 34+, Muhammad Rizky Syahrafli Simatupang 15th (32+), Mahesa Caesar 20th (29+), and Muhammad Ramzi Firmansyah 22nd (29+). In women's, Nur Diatul Jannah was 22nd with 18+.
Indonesia had already collected speed slots via Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi, Veddriq Leonardo, Aditya Tri Syahria, and Berthdigna Devi Surya Kusuma, plus boulder entries from Raviandi Ramadhan and Ravianto Ramadhan. This brings the total to eight tickets, completing the full quota for the Asian Games 2026.
