Initiative Africa seeks external audit firms for 2025

Initiative Africa (IA), an Ethiopian resident charity supporting vulnerable communities, is inviting qualified audit firms to propose for the external audit of its FY 2025 financial statements. The audit will follow Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) standards, with an option to extend services for the next two fiscal years.

Initiative Africa (IA), a resident Ethiopian charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities and local organizations, is calling for proposals from qualified and licensed audit firms to conduct an external audit of its FY 2025 financial statements. The selected firm will perform the audit in line with Authority for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) standards, with the possibility of extending services for the subsequent two fiscal years.

The scope of work includes reviewing approximately 10 files of accounting documents, conducting financial reviews, performing field verifications as necessary, and delivering a management letter along with a consolidated financial report. Firms must possess a valid professional license for 2017/2018 EC, TIN and VAT certificates, and demonstrated experience in auditing NGOs.

Interested audit firms are required to submit sealed technical and financial proposals in person between November 5 and 10, 2025, during working hours, to the Senior Administrative & Finance Manager at Initiative Africa, located on the 5th Floor of Lucky Building in Addis Ababa. The submission deadline is November 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
