Jeff Jarrett appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show and the My World podcast to reflect on the season seven premiere of Dark Side of the Ring. The episodes detail the history of TNA Wrestling, which Jarrett co-founded in 2002 with his father Jerry Jarrett, who died in 2023.
Jarrett said he tried to persuade Dixie Carter to participate in the documentary. "They tried and I tried," he stated, noting he texted her and encouraged her to share her perspective during a phone call. Carter did not commit either way.
He also described how recounting his story has aided his recovery. "If I can share my story, it's a huge part of what recovery is," Jarrett said. The third and final part of the Jarrett-TNA episode is scheduled to air next Tuesday on Vice TV.
Regarding TNA sale rumors, Jarrett confirmed he has not looked into the matter and expressed contentment with his role at AEW. "I'm very happy," he said.
