Former Mötley Crüe frontman John Corabi has announced his first full-length solo album of original material, titled New Day, set for release on April 24, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl. The album includes the newly released title track, accompanied by an official music video, which blends rock with soulful elements. Corabi describes the project as a nostalgic nod to 1960s and 1970s classic rock.
John Corabi, who served as Mötley Crüe's lead singer from 1992 to 1996 and currently fronts The Dead Daisies, is marking a milestone with New Day, his debut solo studio album featuring all-original songs.
Production and Style
Recorded in Nashville over the summer of 2025, the album was produced by Marti Frederiksen, known for his work with Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Buckcherry. It draws on 1970s rock, soul, and blues influences, creating an organic sound with real instrumentation and melodic depth. Corabi's commanding vocals shine throughout, supported by heartfelt lyrics that reflect personal growth and positivity.
The title track, New Day, offers an intimate acoustic start that builds into layered rock arrangements, evoking early Boston and Queen. Corabi explains: "'New Day' is a positive, upbeat song with a message of enjoy life!!! Stop whining and complaining about how unfair life is, and enjoy the 'little beautiful things, life offers' and make the changes you need to make your life better!!! Change happens WITHIN…"
