Selected No. 38 overall in the 2023 NBA Draft out of Arkansas, Walsh had a limited role early in his career. As a rookie, he appeared in just nine games with minimal minutes. In the 2024-25 season, he played in 52 games but averaged only 7.8 minutes per night.
This season, however, Walsh has seen increased opportunities, averaging 20.7 minutes per game amid absences including Jayson Tatum's injury. He is putting up 6.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. His shooting splits stand at 58.8% from the field, 45.5% from three-point range, and 81.0% from the free-throw line.
