Legendary comic writer Kieron Gillen has penned the single-player Episode Mode for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The mode includes five unique stories, each following a different team.
Arc System Works unveiled the tag team fighter last year. Episode Mode serves as the game's main single-player experience and ends with boss battles against the Promoter and the Champion.
The full launch roster has been confirmed. It includes Storm, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulk, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Green Goblin, Carnage, Ghost Rider, Blade, Deadpool, and Loki.
The game remains blocked in over 100 countries due to a Sony PSN linking requirement. It is expected to release on PC and PS5 on 6th August, 2026.
