Lego releases Iron Man Mark 3 collector's edition figure

Lego has introduced 12 new Marvel building sets, led by the 1,297-piece Iron Man Mark 3 Collector's Edition figure. Available starting January 1, 2026, the sets cater to builders and collectors with detailed models from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Iron Man figure marks the debut of a new Collector's Edition series for Lego Marvel.

Lego expanded its Marvel lineup on January 1, 2026, with 12 new building sets featuring superheroes and villains from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These sets became available for purchase at retailers including Amazon, the Lego Store, Best Buy, and Target.

The standout release is the Iron Man Mark 3 Collector's Edition, a 1,297-piece display model priced at $130. This figure represents the first Lego Marvel set officially designated as a Collector's Edition, similar to select Harry Potter and Star Wars models. It depicts the iconic armor from the 2008 film Iron Man, the inaugural movie in the Avengers: Infinity Saga, worn by Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark.

Standing over 15 inches tall on its buildable display stand, the model measures up to 8 inches wide and 4 inches deep, depending on the pose. It features multiple articulation points at the neck, shoulders, waist, wrists, and hands, along with gold-lacquered pieces and a connectable Arc Reactor. The set includes a nameplate for the stand and an exclusive Iron Man minifigure with a removable helmet and retractable visor. Builders can use the Lego Builder app's Build Together Mode to collaborate with up to four people.

Other notable sets include the 781-piece Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle for $100, the 604-piece Ravager Jumpsuit Groot for $60, and the 413-piece Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk for $50. Smaller options, such as the 72-piece Spider-Man vs. Ghost Rider for $10, target younger audiences or quick builds. This release follows 2025's adult-oriented Marvel sets, like the Iron Man MK4 Bust.

The new Iron Man model stands out for its realistic depiction, potentially ushering in more detailed adult-focused Marvel builds from Lego.
