Lupita Nyong’o appeared in a gold metallic gown at a New York event for the film The Odyssey. The look was part of her ongoing press tour for the Christopher Nolan project.
The Oscar-winning actor wore a metallic Collins gown by Nicholas Oakwell Couture in New York. She paired it with pearl and sapphire jewelry from Sabyasachi and carried a custom Olympia Le-Tan clutch modeled after Homer’s The Odyssey.
Nyong’o described the gown as inspired by Joan Collins in Esther and the King. She said it made her feel radiant and powerful.
The appearance came during promotion for The Odyssey, where she plays Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra. The film is set for release this Friday.
