Max Meyer allows one hit in Marlins win over Mets

Right-hander Max Meyer threw seven scoreless innings to lead the Marlins to a 4-1 victory over the Mets on Saturday at loanDepot park. Liam Hicks hit two home runs in the win.

Meyer allowed just one hit, a leadoff single in the second inning. He struck out eight batters, walked three and hit one while inducing a double play. His season ERA dropped to 2.52, ninth lowest among National League starters with at least 10 starts. Over five May starts he has a 1.76 ERA.
