Microsoft has announced a strong lineup of new games for Xbox Game Pass in the final days of April and early May, including day-one releases from studios like Double Fine and Don’t Nod. Highlights include Vampire Crawlers on April 21 and Kiln on April 23. Several titles will also leave the service at the end of the month.
Microsoft revealed the second half of April's Xbox Game Pass additions late in the month, packing the final week with new titles. On April 21, subscribers gain access to Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors by Poncle, alongside Little Rocket Lab, a machine-building RPG originally released on PC in October 2025, and Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato, a narrative adventure set in a South American pantry. These arrive on Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC where specified, via Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, with some tiers including Premium. Kiln launches as a day-one release on April 23. Developed by Double Fine, the Psychonauts studio, it is an online multiplayer brawler where players craft pots on a pottery wheel that become their combat bodies in arenas filled with colorful spirits. Aphelion follows on April 28 from Don’t Nod, creators of Life Is Strange, Jusant, and Lost Records. This hardcore sci-fi adventure features astronaut Ariane Montclair surviving on Persephone, blending exploration, stealth, and storytelling. Further additions include Trepang2, a 2023 F.E.A.R.-style shooter, on April 29; and on April 30, a preview of Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era on PC, reviving the 1995 series, plus Sledding Game, featuring physics-based sledding frogs, and TerraTech Legion, a bullet-hell vehicle-builder. Final Fantasy V joins on May 5. Nine games leave on April 30, including Citizen Sleeper, Creatures of Ava, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Goat Simulator, Goat Simulator Remastered, Hunt Showdown 1896, NHL 24 via EA Play, Revenge of the Savage Planet, and Endless Legend 2.
