My Chemical Romance delays first show of Black Parade 2026 tour

My Chemical Romance has postponed the opening night of its Black Parade 2026 tour due to unforeseen circumstances. The concert in Bogotá, Colombia, originally set for January 22, will now take place on February 10. All other tour dates remain unchanged.

My Chemical Romance announced the delay of their Black Parade 2026 tour's first performance over the weekend via Instagram. The show, planned for January 22 at Vive Claro Distrito Cultural in Bogotá, Colombia, has been rescheduled to February 10, 2026. The band cited reasons beyond their control, the promoter's, or the venue's as the cause.

In their statement, the group wrote: “Due to reasons beyond the control of ourselves, the promoter, or the venue, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our show in Bogotá, Colombia. The new date will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The Hives will still open and the schedule will remain unchanged. All other dates in South America and Mexico City will continue as planned. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our fans and look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.” Original tickets will be honored for the new date, with refund information available through Ticketmaster.co channels.

This tour extends the band's Long Live the Black Parade Tour, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of their seminal album The Black Parade. The 2026 leg includes 17 dates, starting in South America in January, followed by Asia in April, Europe in June and July, and North America in August, September, and October. It concludes with three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The initial Long Live the Black Parade Tour kicked off last July with 12 dates. A review of the band's hometown performance highlighted the high energy, noting headbanging and screamo singing before launching into 'Helena.' Frontman Gerard Way shared during the show: “I felt that one in my bones,” as he performed on his knees with the sold-out crowd.
