Naruto to receive new trading card game in 2027

Bandai Card Games announced this week that Naruto will get its first official trading card game in over a decade. The title is set to launch globally in 2027 and will mark the 25th anniversary of the Naruto TV series.

The new game comes from the same publisher behind the original Naruto TCG, which ran from 2006 to 2013. Creator Masashi Kishimoto supplied an original illustration of Naruto and Sasuke for the reveal.

Kishimoto said in a statement, “I hope these cards can make their way into all of your hands and hearts. The world of Naruto continues to grow.”

Preview sessions are scheduled for late July at Gen Con in Indianapolis. The announcement follows strong interest in other Jump series card games such as One Piece and Yu-Gi-Oh.
