A national conference on Party building was held in Beijing on Monday. Cai Qi and Li Xi attended the event.
The conference noted that since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012, the CPC Central Committee with Xi Jinping at its core has advanced new ideas, thoughts and strategies on building a Marxist Party for long-term governance.
Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building has taken shape as a key part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It serves as the fundamental guideline for Party building in the new era.
The conference stressed that studying and implementing the Thought is a major political task. Party organizations at all levels must apply it to advance work and ensure full and rigorous Party self-governance meets higher standards.
